Humans are aware of themselves living together with other people, jointly providing meaning and value and humanizing each other. Humans become individuals precisely in the recognition of others. This research is included in classroom action research. <em>Round club </em>cooperative method. The research location is Lamatou State Elementary School, Lewolema District, East Flores Regency. The subjects of the research were 16 students of class V SDN Lamatou. The research was carried out for 2 months, starting from January to February 2021. This research was carried out in two cycles. The research procedure consisted of two stages. The first stage is the stage of determining the learning model and the second stage is the application of the learning model. The first stage and the second stage have the same research object because in the first stage a search is carried out to determine the learning model that is in accordance with the real conditions faced by students. At this stage, observations were made of students, and based on the results of observations, students were interviewed. The results of the interviews were correlated with the <em>home visit </em>data. At the end of the first stage, students are given formative tests as a pre-cycle activity and at the second stage, namely the application of the learning model of the first stage of the search results. Remedial Teaching is an educational service or a form of learning program that is carried out with special treatment given by the teacher to students who experience difficulties and obstacles in teaching and learning activities so that these students achieve predetermined competency standards. This study aims to determine whether remedial teaching can improve reading, writing and counting skills for mild mentally retarded children at Wisma Paulo 6 Yayasan Bhakti Luhur Malang. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research design, with the subject of 2 children with mild mental retardation. The method used is full participant observation. While the data analysis is done by comparing the initial test and the final test. In accordance with the aim of efforts to improve reading, writing and counting skills for mild mentally retarded children, the following results were obtained: for MZ respondents in reading practice the pre test score was 5, the post test score was 8, so there was 3 points progress. For practice writing, the pre-test score is r 5 and the post-test score is 9, so there is a 4-point progress. For practice calculating the pre-test score is 5 and the post-test result is 8, so there is a progress of 3 points. For AG respondents, the pre-test scores were 5 and the post-test scores were 9, so there was a 4-point progress. In order to better assist the children, young people need to understand their role as a leader who serves and has motivation in carrying out activities according to the child's abilities. The problem of technological development affects young people in carrying out child assistance activities. Young people who are supposed to be the center of the organizers of activities to improve child assistance, are not able to complete work contracts. Therefore, researchers conducted a study to determine the <em>servant leadership </em>and the motivation of young people in increasing mentoring for mentally retarded children. In this research, the researcher uses the qualitative research method to examine the condition of natural objects. The data collection technique is triangulation (combined): interviews, observations and documentation so that the data obtained are in accordance with the objectives of the study. The results of the study show that <em>servant leadership </em>and the motivation of young people in increasing mentoring for mentally retarded children will be more developed if the leadership model itself prioritizes deep personal relationships, not merely functional or assisting and leading simply because of the task. The young people carry out activities according to the schedule and guidelines in the community, actively and creatively in providing activities to children so that children are happy and can participate in activities. Supporting factors are the availability of infrastructure, experts, clear guidelines, good cooperation and communication and the involvement of all community residents. Their way of life tends to regard pleasure and enjoyment of material matters as the main goal in life. Its consequences are clear, namely, their lives feel empty and they are easily discouraged. Such a way of life is similar to the situation of the Christians at the time of Montfort, namely many of them glorified worldly possessions by organizing wild parties. Responding to this situation, Montfort propagates the spirituality of Consecration of Self to bring Christians into union with Christ. Consecration of Self is a perfect way to come to Jesus and unite with Him. Renewing the Christian spirit isn’t but renewing the unity and likeness with Christ. According to Montfort’s conviction, this union with Christ is more intensively achieved through Mary. Meaning, perfection of life cannot be reached through a materialistic, hedonistic, and consumerist way of life. In other words, being a Christian means being ready to live up to one’s vocation to become more Christ-like. Consecration of Self is not only related to outward actions but is also related to living it interiorly. Outward action becomes the realization of internalization. Outward actions will also help Christians to achieve internalization. The combination of the two brings Christians to holiness. Gross motor and fine motor barriers will affect various daily activities even though they are very simple. Down syndrome children, motor skills are very low because their intelligence is also low. The low fine motor skills of children with down syndrome cause many obstacles. Fine motor barriers in the form of folding, colouring, drawing, painting, cutting, scraping and scribbling with crayons. The condition of fine motor skills in scribbling using crayons is very lacking, so it is necessary regularly. Fine motor skills are developed so that the ability to move small muscles is more mature in preparation to help children with down syndrome write. This study aims to prove that practising scribbling with crayons can improve fine motor skills in children with down syndrome. With this type of experimental design research used pre-experimental in the form of one group pretest-postest. The research was carried out at Wisma Bhakti Luhur consisting of 4 children with down syndrome. Based on the results obtained after being tread with scribbling with crayons for 4 children with down syndrome, there was an increase for JH, RZ in the practice of crossing out straight lines, crossing out upwards, crossing out downwards, crossing out siksak, crossing out, crossing out triangles, getting an average score of 12,5%. RL: crossing out a straight line, crossing out up, crossing out down, crossing out siksak, crossing out, crossing out triangles got an average score of 15%. The research design used is the SSR (Single Subject Research) A-B-A design for 12 sessions. The results of the study focused on ten indicators of bath self-help exercises: 1) taking toiletries, 2) bringing toiletries to the bathroom, 3) putting toiletries in place, 4) taking water in buckets with dippers, 5) watering the body with water 4 to 5 times, 6) taking and wetting soap, 7) rubbing soap on the face, neck, and back of the ears,&nbsp; 8) rubbing soap on the left and right arms to the tips of the fingers and armpits, body and back, both feet and fingers, 9) rinse the whole body clean, 10) dry the body with a towel starting from the hair, face, neck, ears, arms and armpits, body, back, and legs, to dry. The results showed that the baseline-1 (A) phase was carried out for 3 sessions obtaining an average score of 36%, the intervention phase (B) was carried out for 6 sessions with an average score of 76.6%, and the baseline-2 (A) phase was carried out for 3 sessions with an average score of 80%. The results of visual analysis in conditions show that the directional tendency increases from session to session which means that it shows a good change (+).&nbsp; While in the analysis between conditions the level change from the baseline phase to the intervention phase increased from the previous data while the percentage overlap in phases A1 and B was 0%; Phases A2 and B by 0.3%. In fact, the learning process can be done anywhere, including outdoors or outdoors, including learning for children with special needs. This concept is an innovation in the field of education. There is not much formal research available on the implementation of open nature learning and there is no curriculum reference that regulates learning for children with special needs in the open. This study aims to describe the implementation of open-based learning for children with special needs and to see the positive and negative impacts for children with special needs in participating in learning in the open. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection tools used were observation of learning activities, interviews and documentation studies. Live Nature Schools do not have to use luxurious buildings but can use wooden classrooms, so the cost for school buildings or study rooms is cheaper. Because quality education is not determined by the physical structure of the building, but rather by the quality of teachers, the correct methodology and adequate book resources as a gateway to knowledge. The learning is carried out in accordance with the learning method with nature. In principle, this school uses appropriate methods in choosing learning models.
