Author Guidelines

General

  1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian and must not have been published in any journal with an ISSN or ISBN.
  2. Submitted manuscripts are scholarly studies resulting from case studies or literature reviews. All accepted cases should have attention to difficult, unique, and rare cases with unusual problem solving that are important for publication.
  3. Manuscripts must be written in the form of an article, not a report and presented following the principles of good Indonesian grammar.
  4. Authors must register as an author at this link; https://e-journal.stp-ipi.ac.id/index.php/servire  before logging into SERVIRE Journal to submit and upload manuscripts.
  5. Manuscripts will be published in SERVIRE Journal after being reviewed by peer reviewers.
  6. The editorial staff has the right to edit the manuscript without making any changes to its content.
  7. The author of the manuscript is responsible for the content of the published manuscript.
  8. SERVIRE Journal will notify authors of any unpublished manuscripts.
  9. Manuscripts and illustrations submitted are legally the property of the publisher and may not be published in other media without formal permission from the publisher.
  10. The support of journal authors is expected by using references from the published SERVIRE Journal.
  11. All forms of communication must be electronic.

Systematization of Manuscript Writing

1. Title

  • Title, author name, Affiliated institution, City, Country and email as appropriate.
  • The title should be no more than 20 words, describing the entire content of the paper, typed in Arial Nova Cond bold typeface 16

2. Abstract

  • Abstracts should be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Write the abstract in English and Indonesian. The manuscript should be written in Indonesian. Use Arial Nova Cond font size 10 with single line spacing. The abstract should be no more than 150 words long.
  • Abstract is made in one paragraph without subtitles consisting of background, objectives, methods, results and conclusions and keywords of no more than 5 words, sorted alphabetically.

3. Content

The overall length of the manuscript (including appendices) is between 6 and 12 A4 pages. Pages do not need to be numbered. The manuscript should be presented in several sections, starting from Introduction (± 25%), Methodology, Activity Process, Results, Discussion (± 65%), Conclusions and Recommendations (± 10%), Acknowledgments and List of References. The title of the manuscript is no more than 15 words. Authors should realize that the article will be read by a national or even international audience. Non-standard colloquial language should be avoided. In the Introduction section, at least provide a description of the background of the problem and the objectives to be achieved. Methods. Describe in this section, the methods applied in community service activities. Discussion. In this section, the results of activities are presented or described which are related to the scientific fields applied in community service activities. Conclusion. The conclusion contains the achievement of the objectives of community service activities based on the results of activities and discussions.

4. Reference

Use the American Psychological Association (APA) Style-7 writing style. The reference list is a list of cited sources that the author and reader need to support the trustworthiness of each source included in the writing or article. The writing of the reference list is done alphabetically, starting from A-Z from the author's last name, following the previous writing format example. It is also necessary to pay attention to the writing of uppercase and lowercase letters, italics, periods, and commas.
